Scenario 1
You need someone to send out your statements, chasing letters and e-mails and phone your overdue accounts but you haven't got the time to do it.
You could use an agency to find a part-time or temporary credit controller or you could use SH Business Services
Costs of using an agency
Around £20 per hour + VAT, for which you'll probably get someone with limited experience as the employee will only be getting approx. 50% of what you're paying the agency! Plus if you decide to take on the employee permanently, you'll have a hefty fee to pay to the agency. Then if any accounts are not getting paid, you may have to resort to court action, in which case you'll be paying another hefty fee to a solicitor and they can take a long time before they issue a summons and by this time your account may have gone into receivership!

If a summons needs to be issued - no problem, SH Business Services has all the expertise you need and can get the summons to your customer in days. 95% of cases are settled before going to court and if not, SH Business Services can handle any Enforcements and the hearing too, all for the same price! If a case is very complex, then SH Business Services can advise when you should consult a solicitor. but in my experience, this is extremely rare.

You have an account that normally pays according to your terms but now appears to be struggling and you can't afford the time to keep chasing them.
What can SH Business Services do to help you?
SH Business Services can chase them for you, by letter, e-mail, phone or any combination that you choose.
SH Business Services could check them out for you using a 100% accurate service that I subscribe to for an additional cost of only £5 per account. This will also cover any future monitoring on the same account that may be needed, for example in assessing whether, if you decide to issue a summons, there is any likelihood of it getting paid. If there is already a string of CCJ's outstanding, then it is unlikely to be successful.
If I think it is viable for you to go the legal route, then I will complete all the necessary documentation and submit the summons to the County Court, My cost to do this will be charged at my normal flat rate of £15 per hour. Most summonses can be prepared in a matter of minutes. A fair estimate would be an average of 30 minutes - a cost to you of just £7.50, compare that to what a solicitor will charge you!
I will need brief details of how the debt was incurred together with payment for the court costs.
